Open Call for Startups: Bits & Pretzels 2023

The European Association for Software Engineering (EASE), in collaboration with TechUkraine and Kyiv IT Cluster, warmly invites Ukrainian startups to join us at Bits&Pretzels 2023.

About the Event

Bits & Pretzels is a large tech event that brings together the brightest minds, innovators, and disruptors from around the world. The festival will bring together 5000 participants, including founders, investors and other key figures in the startup world. The event will take place at the ICM Internationales Congress Center.

We are looking for startups in various tech-related fields, who meet the criteria: 

• Companies that launched their MVP in 2013 or later.
• The number of employees does not exceed 100, and the amount of funding is less than 15 million euros.

The festival will feature a Ukrainian stand with partners, measuring 2×4 meters, where 4 selected Ukrainian startups will be able to host. The main goal of the stand is to demonstrate the potential of the Ukrainian technology sector and generate leads.

The conference organizers are offering pavilion space at no charge. EASE will cover half the cost of the booth. For startups, there’s a participation fee of €560, plus any associated logistics expenses.

Application Deadline: September 20

Action Plan:

• Accepting applications from startups until September 20.
• On September 21, an offline Open call with the jury will be held in Kyiv, where four startups will be selected to participate in the festival.
• On the same day, September 21, participants must transfer funds to the EASE account to pay for participation. Also, provide information about the company for stand branding.
• Stand preparation and publication of information about startups will last until September 22.
• Participation in the Bits & Pretzels 2023 festival from September 24 to 26.
