NIX

NIX is one of Ukraine’s largest IT development teams, uniting 4,500 specialists in PHP, Java, .NET, Python, JS, C++, Flutter, Golang, Magento, Salesforce, Ruby, Swift, React, DevOps, BI, Data Analysis, ML, QA, PM, UI/UX, BA, and more.

For the past 28 years, we have successfully completed thousands of complex projects for the world’s largest companies, including Fortune 100 firms, in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Our products can be found in dozens of different domains, ranging from ecommerce and fintech to healthcare and cloud.

NIX has always set lofty goals for itself. One of them—providing competitive advantages to the Ukrainian IT industry in the international arena—came to the fore during the war. This is a large responsibility, as the success of such a task determines the fate of both the industry and the country as a whole. Ukraine has high hopes for Ukraine’s IT industry: it is now one of the few types of businesses that can not only function but also grow in extreme conditions. As a result, to support the economy, assist the army, and rebuild the country following victory, beginning February 24 we began working more, not less.

All of our processes are set up online. We have retained foreign customers and are fulfilling our obligations to them. Moreover, we regularly participate in international conferences, for example, we recently represented our country at a major business forum in the Netherlands.

Furthermore, in March, NIX President Igor Braginsky became a member of the Supervisory Board of Karazin Kharkiv National University, thanks to which the training of IT specialists will become even more effective.

NIX paid a lot of attention to training even before the war: the team has long cooperated with leading Ukrainian universities and it participates in updating courses and educational programs. We also have our own Corporate Training Center (CTC NIX) that offers free courses in 19 relevant IT areas. Training is conducted by experienced NIX specialists, and newcomers can immediately apply theory to practical cases—no outdated information, only up-to-date knowledge and skills according to the actual requirements of the IT market.

A special place in the history of NIX is occupied by the development of the Ukrainian IT community. About 10 years ago, the team first held a small, cozy PHP meetup for “nuclear people.” The event was a huge success, and we want to repeat it again and again with an even bigger scope. Thus was born the famous NIX MultiConf, an annual IT conference, which today is one of the largest IT events in the country. It is such an anticipated event in the IT world that even the war could not cancel it. The NIX team did the impossible, and in the spring of 2022 the fifth NIX MultiConf, still took place (albeit online). The conference, attended not only by well-known leaders of the IT industry, but also by reputable business representatives, was broadcast all over the world. Moreover, this time it was a really great event, which showed foreign partners that it is impossible to break the solidarity of Ukrainians. Everybody made sure that even in such extreme conditions the industry will keep working, obligations will remain fulfilled, and Ukraine will continue to be a reliable business partner. 

And of course, now we direct a lot of attention and effort to volunteer and charitable projects.

The NIX Team:

• Since 2014 has purchased tons of emergency military tourniquet for our defenders, thousands of bulletproof vests and helmets, and hundreds of cars, drones, thermal imagers, and scopes.
• Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion has donated more than $25 million to support the Ukrainian army and continues to do everything possible and impossible for Victory, having secured the support of foreign partners.
• Is waging a war against the occupiers on the information front, attracting foreign media to cover russian war crimes in Ukraine, developing specialized chatbots, etc.
• Saves places in the team, providing income to those who joined the ranks of the AFU and the Territorial defense to guard Ukraine from the occupant.

Day after day, NIX continues to work, proving by its own example that nothing is impossible when we are united and have a common goal.
